HAJJI Imad

I'm a Director of Photography from Morocco with a Master's degree in Cinematography.

My approach as a DP is very technical. Developed through experience in multiple complex shooting environments and a background in colour & finishing, this approach relies on deep technical preparation before the shoot while leaving enough flexibility to adapt and improvise when the story demands it. Technical decisions are never isolated from the narrative; they come from an understanding of story, dynamics, casting, and production design, allowing the cinematography to actively support the director in fully achieving their vision.

Working across Morocco and Europe has exposed me to different production scales, film cultures, and creative systems. This diverse experience has widened my spectrum of possibilities, allowing me to take sharper decisions and adapt to different environments.

Naturally, most of my experience has been in narrative work: fiction, TV, and documentary. I'm now broadening my work to also include commercials.

As for my services, I primarily work as a cinematographer, but I also offer colour grading and camera operating services (see the "Extra Services" tab).
